Hi i want to temporarly pause my store without any further charges. How do i do that in the simplest way. Maybe i open up the store again in a month or so…

You can temporarily step away from your store by going on our Pause and Build plan. This plan will allow you to continue making changes in your admin at a reduced cost of $14 USD or lower per month, depending on your region. While charges will carry on when you’re on this plan, this is the best course of action to save costs while being able to inform customers you’re taking a break when they visit your store. The checkout will not be available on the Pause and Build plan but your website will still be accessible. You can easily put up your password page in this case, and write a message to your customers. If you prefer to put a stop to the charges, the only way is to deactivate your store. Your store will not be accessible when it’s deactivated so it’s not recommended if you don’t want your customers to get the impression that your store is closed for good. Nonetheless, you may still do this and inform your customers through other channels instead, such as newsletters and social media posts. Your store data will be guaranteed for 2 years so you won’t lose any data when you deactivate your store and you can pick up where you left off in a month by logging into your store and selecting a plan.
