How can I transfer my DNS from Wix to Shopify?

Hello

I recently failed to make my website thru Wix. Now I’m trying Shopify, but I cannot transfer my original domain. The help center has circular links that do not provide step-by-step what to click/type in which box.

I am trying to contract the site out so someone to finish so I can start selling, so I need to figure this out ASAP

Also just clarifying that your domain is currently hosted on Wix, is that correct?
