How can I transfer my domain from Wixsite to Shopify?

I cannot transfer domain name from wixsite to shopify, and appear notify like this “domain status not connected” please any solution for this issue,

They are being impossible, saying that they can’t transfer out of DigitalOcean because they have several client’s sites with the same hosting. This sounds like royal BS. We just want to move everything to shopify.

Thanks so much for providing this screenshot, really helpful. The first thing I would like to check with you is that you have the correct DNS settings applied to this domain. The steps for applying the correct values here are:

  1. Log in to your Name Cheap account.

  2. Find the DNS settings or domain management area.

  3. Change the following records:

    A. Point the A record to the Shopify IP address 23.227.38.65.
    B**.** If necessary, change the Host name to the @ symbol.
    C. Delete any other A records on the domain if there are any present.
    D. Point the CNAME record with the name www to shops.myshopify.com.

Once you are certain all of these changes have been made, it can take up to 48 hours for the changes to be applied and for the new domain to “point” to your store. Once these changes have applied, your domain should then be ready to transfer. Please do let me know if this works for you!
