how can i know if im using my domain right now/
because there is not connected behind my domain name and how much time it will take to get verifed and should i buy a subscription to my domain get verifed or not ( i will buy subscription later)

I understand that within your Settings > Domains section of your Shopify admin, your domain is showing as Not Connected.
Could you confirm if you’ve followed the steps in our connect your third-party domain to Shopify manually resource? If not, no worries as I’ll share the steps below to help you successfully connect your domain to your Shopify store.
You’ll first want to edit your DNS records within your third-party domain provider account. The DNS records will need to reflect Shopify’s address.
First, point the A record to the Shopify IP address 23.227.38.65
If necessary, change the Host name to the @ symbol
Delete any other A records on the domain if there are any present
After editing your DNS records in your third-party domain provider account, you’ll need to connect your domain to Shopify. This can be done directly within your Shopify admin, Settings > Domains section.
Within Settings > Domains, click Connect existing domain
Enter your domain name and click Next
To confirm that your domain is connected to your Shopify store, click Verify connection.
It might take up to 48 hours for your domain to be verified. After it’s verified, your domain is listed in the THIRD-PARTY DOMAINS section of the Domains page with the status Connected.

im sure i did all of these steps correctly but in A step when im typing @ in A record and if i saved it it will disappear but the A record still in the list i mean if i write @ it will disappear and the record still available without any name i will send a picture for that and that means i shouldnt have a plan to shopify verify my plan or? @Victoria_13 and when im trying to connect it again its says
Can’t connect Domain.com because it’s already connected to a Shopify store.

Since there is an issue with updating your DNS settings, I recommend reaching out to your third-party domain provider. They’ll be able to walk you through the steps of adjusting your DNS records as we don’t have access to your account/domain provider.
In regards to the error message you’re seeing: Domain is already connected to another Shopify store, our support team via The Shopify Help Center can assist you with this. When reaching out to support, our team will request information from you in order to prove domain ownership.
