How to customize branded Shopify Digital Downloads App email notifications?

Hello everyone,

Wondering if anyone if anyone knows more about customizing branded email notifications for the Shopify Digital Downloads App aside from the basic liquid variable modifiers in the email templates:

We tried designing a email template within Klaviyo, then exporting HTML and placing it in the body of the email template, but the app doesn’t read the code. Curious to know if there is another way around this, giving that most of our products are only digital downloads we want to have brand consistency through out all forms of communication.

Customizations we are trying to achieve
Adding Logo / Brand Colors / Social Media Graphic Links

Would appreciate any advice in direction on how to proceed to achieve such results. Thank you everyone ahead of time, have a great day!

I fear your wish is currently doomed. If you look at this thread you will see how long it has been doomed for!

Unfortunately, there needs to be a major App upgrade by Shopify and it just does not seem to be high on their To-Do list.

I’m also looking to the same, wrote a custom HTML code for the Download link email that’s working on other email, but when pasted into the Digital Downloads template, customers receive the HTML code written as text.

Shopify Digital Downloads devs, are you alive??!!!
