How to drive more visitors to the website
Hi @Rommy1
This is rather a broad question.
Although in simple terms - you need to put your shop out there, without just spamming the link everywhere.
So, consider the following distribution channels:
- Related Facebook groups
- So think about where your ideal customers hang out, and try to position your products in a way that they would not mind taking a closer look at it.
- Rather than pushing it in their face, simply offer your products as a solution to their problem. Again this would highly depend on the type of products you sell.
- Share among your friends and family
- This is great because you can even offer them a commission if they bring you a sale.
- Influencer marketing
- You can hire someone to do an Ad for your company. The prices would range based on how many followers they have. And sometimes you can get great value if their video/post goes viral.
- Run Ads on Facebook + Instagram + Tiktok.
- Tiktok might not be a good option if you’re not selling internationally.
- But facebook and instagram have always worked in terms of running social media ads to bring more eyes to your products.
- Optimize your website for SEO
- This would help your shop rank up high in the google search results and when people search for your products, it will show up and they are more likely to buy when they entered a specific keyword that matches your shop.
There’s a lot more to it. And for obvious reasons I cannot go much into detail for each of these topics. Although if you’d like to discuss a specific topic more in depth, please feel free to ping me.
Hope this helps!
Hi @Rommy1 ,
There are a lot of things you can do, the challenge is to figure out what to focus on initially.
The first and most important thing is to ensure you have product market fit. Essentially, are you sure that the audience for your product is willing to buy it at scale from you.
Once you’ve nailed that, then everything else falls into place. Once you understand your audience, you’ll know where to go looking for them and what messages will resonate with them.
Articulate your USPs. eCommerce is getting more and more crowded by the day. It’s basically required that you have a unique selling point in order to differentiate your brand. Whatever that is, identify it and shout it from the mountaintops.
Once you’ve got that far, here’s an article with a range of marketing tactics for Shopify growth. Every store is different but hopefully some of the tips in that link will help you efficiently build out a framework for success.
