If you’ve purchased a domain from Shopify, then the domain will be set up automatically within approximately 48 hours. However, if you’re connecting a third-party domain, then you will need to make sure that both of Shopify’s DNS records are set up with your domain provider. It’s also important to note that it can take up to 48 hours for third-party domains to be fully set up as well.
After adding your domain to Shopify or Shopify’s DNS records to your third-party domain provider, you can set up a primary domain for the redirection. The primary domain can help redirect your customers using one of your other domains (eg. store.myshopify.com or HTTP) to your primary domain.
If you need further assistance with your domains, then this is something that our Support team can help you with. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit the Shopify Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request.
So that I can take a closer look at your domain, can you share your URL?
Thank you for following up and sharing your domain address!
I’ve taken a look at the domain (artventure.xyz) and both versions, the HTTP and HTTPS, seem to be working at the moment. It also looks like you’ve set up a primary domain now, as both of your domains are redirecting me to: https://artventure.store. If you’re not seeing the same results, then it’s possible that you may need to clear your browser’s cookies and caches.
Just to confirm, did it simply require more time for your domain to finish setting up? Or, did you have to do something on your end?
