I am being billed for a phantom online store that I don't even know about

Apparently I have an online store, I didn’t even know that. I have no way of logging into it and no way of getting a hold of anybody at Shopify. There is no number to call there is nothing I can do I cannot get a hold of anybody no matter what I try. My bank account is being charged almost $50 a month for something that I don’t even know exists and that I don’t know how to get to, and I have no way of canceling this circumstance. Can someone please help me?

First, head to accounts.shopify.com/store-login and enter the email your bank statement shows. Shopify will send you a list of any stores (even inactive ones) tied to that address, along with a password‑reset link.

Once you log in, go into Settings → Plan and cancel the subscription to stop further charges.

If no store appears under your email, you can still reach Shopify by phone. In the U.S. call +1 (888) 746‑7439, in the UK it’s +44 808 189 0953, or find your local support number at help.shopify.com/en/questions#/contact. Tell them you can’t access your store but need to cancel the unknown subscription—they’ll ask for your transaction ID.

If that doesn’t work, contact your bank or credit card company to dispute the recurring charge as unauthorized. When your bank opens an investigation, Shopify’s billing team will be prompted to halt the subscription.
