when i click on the deactivate button to delete store but it does not work & can anyone help me up with this

Have you checked your billing status? If your store has an outstanding balance or is on a free trial, you may not be able to deactivate it until the balance is paid or the trial period has expired.

I am sorry to hear you have decided to close your store - may I ask why?
In order for payments to stop completely, you must elect to close your store. You will receive no further bills from Shopify after closing your store provided there are no outstanding charges - I am wondering if this may be what is preventing you from closing your store? Do you have a current outstanding invoice? The process for closing the store can only be done by the store owner, for a store with no outstanding invoices. The steps are as follows:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Plan.
- Click Deactivate store.
- If applicable, review the options to switch to the Pause and build plan, or start a new store.
4.If you still want to deactivate, then click Deactivate store. - Select a reason for the deactivation, and then click Continue.
- Enter your password, and then click Deactivate now.
- You receive an email to confirm that your store’s deactivated. You can still re-open your store or view your past bills, and your store’s information is guaranteed for 2 years.
