Is anyone else frustrated with Shopify's customer service?

I am beyond disappointed with the customer service I have received from Shopify. When I first started my website getting to talk to a LIVE REP was an amazing perk. HOWEVER a few months back Shopify has cheaped out and no longer has the option to speak to a live rep. Getting a rep via chat is a nightmare and they are never able to help. I have had an issue with my shoppay and it says to contact customer support. It’s been a month and issue yet to be resolved. I bring over 6 figures of business to the platform. The fact that my issue is yet to be resolved or hear from someone with an update is EXTREMELY UPSETTING !

Email support seems like a chatbot too. I am extremely frustrated with the current lack of any support or support that is incredibly TIME CONSUMING. We couldn’t possibly run our business this way and stay in business.

Yes! 100% agree! You go back and forth with the bot until it finally has you wait for an agent to “further assist” once I waited 45 minutes before I could finally message with an agent for them to be zero help with my issue. It’s extremely frustrating because we pay our monthly fees and we bring so much money to the Shopify platform. The least thing we could get in return is good customer service! If our shops aren’t running effectively, we aren’t making money and then neither is the Shopify platform. You would think customer service would be a bare minimum expectation ?

Agreed. Shopify support with a live rep used to be 10/10 impressive. Now the chat support feels patronizing and unhelpful.
