Low Shopify sessions despite Facebook clicks — How to improve conversion on site?

Hi everyone!

I’m running Facebook ads for my Shopify store, but I’m seeing a high number of clicks (around 70 per day), but the sessions on my Shopify store are much lower (about 5-10 per day). I think the issue might be that users are quickly leaving the site. I checked the site’s loading speed, and it’s fast.

Here’s the link to the product page: https://furrizo.com/products/silentclaw-pet-nail-grinder

Does anyone have advice on how I can improve the conversion rate and keep users on the site longer?

Thanks!

Thanks for your input! The product in the video ad is exactly the same as on the website. I created the video myself as a test, but I’ve also ordered a professionally made one, which I’m waiting for.

I’ve also double-checked the site on both PC and mobile devices, and everything is responsive and clearly visible.

I’d be interested to see the examples you mentioned, and I appreciate your help!

Hey, thanks for your insights!

I’m running two ad sets: one broad (pet lovers and pet supplies) and one more specific (targeting groomers). My average CTR is 4.5%, but my bounce rate is very high (around 80%). That’s why I suspect the issue is with the product page rather than the traffic itself, but I’m not 100% sure.

I’m driving traffic directly to the product page https://furrizo.com/products/silentclaw-pet-nail-grinder
Would it be better to create a new campaign driving traffic to a dedicated landing page instead of the product page, or can I adjust the existing campaign to test this?

Would love to hear your thoughts on what could be improved!

Ok, but Im new here, in Shopify Community and dont know how to send direct message.

Hi @furrizode ,

We appreciate your inquiry in the Shopify Community. We are MooseDesk, a comprehensive Live Chat, FAQ & Helpdesk App designed to elevate your customer support experience.

Congrats on your new store! I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. Especially your Homepage has decent structure: attractive Hero banner, FAQ, value proposition, testimonials, professionals’ recommendation and CTA to purchase. It has been so far the most proper website I have ever visited

However, I have some small comments to boost sales, please kindly check.

1. Edit the CTA link of the banner on Homepage

As I notice, the banner “TODAY ONLY : 25% OFF + FREE SHIPPING” that shows a very strong call to action has already been hyperlinked. But for sales boost, it is more suitable to attach the link of product page/discounts/purchase instead of your Homepage.

2. Optimize Hero banner

As a customer, I find your first words on Hero banner really concise and straightforward. Then, you can highlight an engaging tagline that highlights the unique value of the brand, e.g., “Premium Pet Claw Care, Tailored for Your Furry Friend.”

Also, it is really nice if your Hero banner image could feature the use of your Furrizo’s Claw Grinder (the pet’s claws are nicely used by Furrizo). This would help customers to get the real quick understanding of your products and willing to stay longer to get deeper understanding.

3. Add reviews for Product page

I noticed that you have nicely included testimonials in your Homepage, which can also be important on your Product page too. The user clicks on the Product, swipe downs and is on the verge of deciding whether to purchase or not. Right at that moment, you can create trust by showcasing the testimonials, pushing to purchase

4. Add a live-chat widget

I can see that your website is lacking a live chat widget feature which allows customers to contact you immediately. Imagine when they are really persuaded by your website and products but just have some more concerns. Without instant support, you could lose them really “painfully”. Therefore, you should try adding a chat widget that can really bring you closer to customers by chatting and emailing, then converting them into buyers.

I suggest exploring MooseDesk, a FREE Live Chat, WhatsApp & FAQ App. You can easily reach customer support via WhatsApp, ensuring immediate assistance for inquiries. Also, the widget provide multi self-Service options such as Order tracking, Translation and FAQ section empower customers to resolve common questions on their own, reducing the need for direct support.

So those are some of my suggestions for your store as an UX expert. If this is helpful for you, please let me know by giving me a ‘LIKE’. If your question is answered please mark this as 'SOLUTION’.

Once again, keep up the fantastic work, and I wish you the best of luck in the future!
