I’ve spent months trying to get refunds from two separate vendors. I’ve filled out multiple report forms. The latest frustration was being told by a chat advisor to fill out the report issue form again which I can’t do because I e already filled them out in the last two weeks. I refuse to go to the bank as this absolves shopify from protecting me as a consumer. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was given the run around. I require assistance in getting refunds - please.
Shopify is what the sellers use, not manage, as Shopify doesn’t process/ manage the refunds - it’s entirely at the discretion of the vendor. Should merchants prove unresponsive and you’ve already filled out the “Report a merchant” form, Shopify can’t do anything unless there are policy violations by the shops. Though filing through your bank or credit card company may seem like a last resort, it is actually the most reliable means of getting your money back. Without that, Shopify cannot overrule or process refunds.
