My shopify store cannot use paypal to collect payment

When my customer pays with paypal, it shows:：Your payment can’t be processed for technical reasons. Tray again or use a different payment method

My store shows:Instruct the customer to retry the transaction using an alternative payment method from the customers PayPal wallet. The transaction did not complete with the customers selected payment method.

I want to gather additional context here, are you able to advise the following please -

• How long ago was this transaction attempt made with PayPal? We did have issues with the payment gateway over the last 2 weeks, however this has since been resolved.

• Is this error occurring on one order so far or quite a few?

• Are you able to send through a screenshot of the error please?

This will most likely be an issue you’ll need to contact PayPal about as they will have access to the necessary systems to help you, however I’m more than happy to provide you with steps that we can take on our side if need be.
