When I create an item with multiple options I want the customer to know they have to select one and not just click buy now. I’m finding more and more customers on their phones don’t realise the item comes with a drop down menu for further options so they just hit buy and what ever is my first item in the options list gets added to the basket. But if they couldn’t hit buy (add to cart) until they had seen the options this would help.
Ideas anyone?
Hi @Simon_Westwood
I recommend using Easify Product Options – it lets you disable default selections and require customers to choose an option before adding to cart. Super helpful, especially for mobile users who might miss the dropdown. It’s simple to set up and doesn’t require any coding. Here’s how it works:
You just need to set the option as “Required Field” and do not choose the default to make sure your customers select options manually before check out. You can set this to different types of options (dropdown, radio, checkbox, button, etc.)
You’ll find this app easy to use, so I hope you give it a try. If you need assistance, just let me know or reach out to Easify!
As all my items are already online and theres well over 3000 with options would I have to go back and add something to each item with a variant ?
