Can’t find paypal in the additional payment method. Is there a way to connect paypal as one of my payment method?

PayPal isn’t in additional methods anymore. Shopify moved it within Shopify Payments as a wallet.

Hii @cgswjs,

  • Shopify no longer lists PayPal under “Additional payment methods”. Instead, it’s now integrated as a wallet within Shopify Payments.

Steps to Connect PayPal in Shopify (New Method)

  1. Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Payments
  2. Under Shopify Payments, click Manage
  3. Scroll to Wallets (or similar section)
  4. Find PayPal (usually called PayPal Wallet)
  5. Click Activate / Connect
  6. Log in with your PayPal Business account
  7. Give permission and save changes

After this, PayPal will appear as a payment option at checkout automatically, you don’t need to add it separately.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I found paypal wallet and it is activated. However, it is not asking me to log into my business paypal account and when I test the payment it is not showing paypam as an option.

Customers have to be not logged into Shop or check out as guest in order to see the express checkout options like Paypal and Amazon… Otherwise, there’s no point. If you’re logged into your Shop account, you would simply pay through Shop Pay.

Also, use the search at the top of Admin and search for Paypal, the activation and login to your Paypal account is there.
