I have many customers travelling from the US to Canada for an event pre-purchasing merch, I have always had them select “Pickup in store”. Before, the location would show right away, but now it says “There are no pickup locations available”. The only way for them to check out is to change their location to Canada. Is there a way that I can bypass this new step and have them see the available stores as soon as they click “Pickup in store” regardless of their location?
I have the same issue with any customers outside of the US. They are unable to purchase product, as the “Pay Now” button is disabled if their IP address is outside the US. I’ve recreated the problem using a VPN in Australia, and the pay now feature does not work.
i have the same issue, have you fixed this?
Shopify seems to have changed something recently which causes this problem. Here is a larger thread on the issue: https://community.shopify.com/topic/2777705
We need to report the issue to Shopify so they can fix it. Right now they don’t sees= it as a priority
Shopify, fix this. We sell rental products. Now when a customer is planning a holiday, they can’t arrange to hire our product, unless they are already in the country? TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Customers need to be able to place pick-up orders from abroad!
