Problems with Cloudflare after Canva Connection

Hi folks. If someone could please please help me.

I am getting an error on my website that 1) on mobile, references Cloudflare Error “Sorry you have been blocked, You are unable to access canva.site”, and 2) on desktop, references “Error 404”.

I accidentally and temporarily connected my domain with Canva, and after that, I’ve been receiving this Cloudflare error. My domain host is Google Domains, and my website is through Shopify.

The CNAME for my domain is not working, even though I removed the canva CNAME address and re-routed to the correct Shopify CNAME address (corrected 3+ days ago and still not working). Shopify Domains page says “Your domain has a Cloudflare Proxy, which is not supported by Shopify.”. I registered into Cloudflare for my domain, removed the Cloudflare proxies for AAAA and CNAME (now it says DNS only), and then also paused and deleted Cloudflare. (Please keep in mind I had never used Cloudflare before, but I did this because I think connecting with Canva automatically connected my domain with Cloudflare.) I deleted Cloudflare proxy more than 24 hours ago, but my domain and the CNAME is still giving the same errors.

Someone please help me!!

Same issue, any answers yet?

Yeah, reach out to Shopify support in their chat box— they fixed it in <5 minutes. They need to refresh something on their end. (they use cloudflare and when you switch to canva something dislocates).

(I am assuming your DNS is pointed correctly, Canva was disconnected, and you turned off the cloudflare proxy.)

Yes, I removed Canva and made sure that all my DNS files are correct. They are identical to my other working account. I do not have a cloudfare account nor have I ever used it.

Thank you. I will give it a try.
