Shopify says my Facebook page is 'ineligible'

Hello,

I am on day 3 of trying to figure out how to connect to Facebook to Shopify.

I have read all the threads I can find on this issue and walked through all the troubleshooting techniques suggested. I have also tried a chat and had no luck. Feeling very frustrated. It seems this is harder than it should be.

Shopify shows an ‘ineligible’ note next to my FB page and it says that I am not the admin of that business page. When I go to my New Page Experience on FB it clearly shows that I am indeed the admin. So what is the problem??

I am having this problem now. were you able to get yours linked and if so how did you do it

No I created an entirely new Facebook page. Felt like a dog chasing my own
tail while working with Meta support. Eventually was told my page was
corrupted and I would have to start over.
