When I try and link my Facebook page to my shopigfy account, it says that my Facebook page is ineligible.
I have tried some suggestion from the forum to deactivate my Facebook shop, which I did. Now it says that the checkout option on my (deactivated) Facebook shop is not applicable for Shopify.
How can I have a checkout option when my Facebook shop has been deactivated already?
Hi, @MadammeJonah .
Welcome to the Shopify Community and thanks for sharing your question here.
When it comes to account connection and permission issues during onboarding, Facebook determines whether the page is eligible. I recommend contacting Facebook Support directly to look into your account eligibility. You can advise Facebook that during the onboarding process of connecting your Facebook page/shop to Shopify, your Facebook page is ineligible. To contact Facebook Support, you can go to the Meta login page and log into your Business Manager.
I’ve located this Facebook resource where you can check if there are any issues with your account quality. This section can be found under Meta Business Accounts to see if there is any action you can take before requesting a review and sorting out issues with your Facebook Shop eligibility.
Lastly, I wanted to share with you our Black Friday Cyber Monday tools. If you haven’t started preparing already, our tools resource has got you covered. It can help ensure your store is equipped to handle increased store traffic and help drive conversion rates.
