Hello, dear Shopify Community,
I run multiple Shopify stores, and I am a Shopify partner. Recently, in the last month or so, the Shopify backend has changed how a user can activate Shopify Payments using a single private member LLC in the US.
This change resulted in three failed verifications of my identity document. I now have to verify my identity by contacting the Shopify Support Center before receiving payouts from Shopify Payments in my bank account.
Considering the urgency of having a proper payment method in place, I contacted Shopify Support five days ago, and now it is the third business day since my request was totally ignored. I never got a reply or support in verifying my document and activating Shopify Payments.
I have 2 Shopify stores already active with Shopify Payments working correctly.
My question is this: How is it possible to wait more than three business days to receive an answer from the support? If Shopify support is keeping their customers hanging for more than three days on such a crucial topic, isn’t it time to review how things work internally?
I would like to know if there is a way to urge the escalated ticket or if I can somehow have priority support.
Any help is highly appreciated!
PS: The typical answer is that the Support team is managing a lot of tickets, resulting in a delay in support management; thank you, but this is something I have been reading so many times and it’s not helping in solving the issue so, if this is what you want to write, thank you, I already know it
