I am a Shopify developer planning to build and publish my own theme on the Shopify Theme Store.
During my research, I came across a theme called “Trademark,” which is frequently mentioned in articles and often ranked among top themes. However, I couldn’t find it on the Shopify Theme Store, which makes me wonder if it has been removed.
I’d like to understand:
Was the “Trademark” theme removed from the Shopify Theme Store?
If so, what were the reasons behind its removal?
What common mistakes should I avoid to prevent rejection or removal of my theme?
I would also appreciate guidance on:
Official Shopify guidelines and best practices for theme approval
Recommended coding structure, architecture, and layout standards
Key requirements for successfully publishing a theme
Which theme niche or category is most promising in the current market
Any detailed insights or helpful resources would be greatly appreciated.
Never buy from other platforms because you will not receive shopify updates. Also if you have a developer that will be better, as he will be able to configure it as well.
Not all themes are sold at theme store. Some are not good enough, some do not follow the requirements intentionally.
There are some good themes among those, like Ella or popular Flex.
I do not really remember the Trademark, but requirements do change and if a small team can’t keep up, the theme may be removed from the theme store.
Support takes a lot of time, so be prepared and have some infrastructure to support your theme when it will be admitted.
