we are currently in the process of changing our product offer and want to offer for out products amount variants. Meaning our original product will get the variants with the amounts 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x. By doing that we are also changing the variant ID of the original product. And I just learnt that this as a bad effect on running Google Ads campaigns, because those are optimized to a specific Shopify product and a specific variant ID. So shopify_DE_productID_variantID.
By adding variants, the variant changes and therefore we would have to build the campaign and everything from scratch.
Does anyone has any experience with this?
