Someone opened a shopify account in my name!

I started getting emails this am that I had setup a shopify account, but I had not. The email was right, but the name was wrong… I took control of the account and changed the password. The creator was from Australia. I cannot find on the shopify site how to report this. I also cannot delete the account. Help

There is no store in the account… I should just be able to get rid of the login etc or report it as fraud. There is nowhere to do that.

If no store is attached, you’re completely fine keeping the account. Nothing will come from it. If you want it removed permanently, you will need to contact our Support Team.

Can you send me the link where I can actually communicate with someone and not just read the answers to questions? I spent 2 hours yesterday going through that page and never found a contact form or phone # to call…
