Store Feedback Wanted

Hi, I have had my store since February and I made 1 sale in March. No sales since then.

I have been running ads here and there which brought people to my store.

I’m looking for suggestions on what I can do to improve my store and to improve my chances of making sales.

Appreciate any suggestions.

My store: Red Eyed Wolf Creations

Hi,

Hope this will help

Let people actually buy: Right now many products are “Sold out” and the page even shows a weird subscription/recurring purchase line. That scares buyers and blocks checkout.

Add normal ways to pay: Your site footer only shows PayPal. Turn on card payments + Shop Pay / Apple Pay / Google Pay so checkout feels easy and safe.

Make the home page say “what you sell” in 1 line and show a big “Shop Now” button: Right now it opens with a long “About Me” paragraph. Move that lower; lead with a short value promise + clear CTA.

Clean your product pages: You have dozens of mockup images (60+ on one tee!). Keep 5–8 best images, put size guide next to the buy button, and remove duplicate/mock images.

Fix your policies & contact: Your Shipping Policy still has a placeholder line (“insert your support email here”) while another page shows a real email—this inconsistency hurts trust. Use one branded email everywhere.

Show trust: Add product reviews/ratings and trusted payment badges near the Add-to-Cart.

Capture emails: Add a simple pop-up: “Join the pack: 10% off your first order.” Then send a 3-email welcome series.

Pause cold ads until 1–7 are done: Sending traffic to a store that looks sold-out and PayPal-only wastes budget.

Create a homepage that genuinely connects with your visitors, Create a top hero banner that highlights a featured product or collection and linked it with a call-to-action button. Add few sections to display new arrivals or featured products in grid.

Move “About the Artist” section under the products. Add some social media reference of happy customers, Instagram highlights, or reviews to build trust. Finally, Add newsletter banner at the bottom of the page to keep your audience engaged long-term.

Additionaly, make your banners clickable so they lead directly to product pages or collections.

Add some discounts and coupon fetaures to attract the visitors.

Add bundle products to increase average order value.

Free shipping on orders over $100 or anything encourages customers to buy more.

So, these small changes might have a big effect on your sales.

  1. These links are incorrect

  2. Re-shaping or removing backgrounds is easy and free. This is just funky.

  3. The price is too high. You don’t make the shirts. You don’t print them. You don’t press them. You don’t even stock them. So they definitely shouldn’t be more than 12-15 usd.

  4. No address. No phone number. No location. No reassurance or trust. Just a blank form.

  5. Choosing the Shopify standard policies without any second look. Is this what you want to present to the public?

Your store’s overall look and feel is very copy and paste with no personal touch. You uploaded low quality images to a print on demand dropshipping site and this is the result. I just don’t see any effort to show people you’re serious about it.

Hi, thank you for the reply!

Regarding t-shirt prices, I have the one you mentioned at £23 and shipping is free. I should lower the price but any lower than £17, I would be looking at a loss. Even at £17, I would only be making £0.05.

I only have my home address and I have yet to set up an alternate phone number.

I shall fix the policy section.

Now, I do have an About Me section, I feel that is a personal touch.

I do genuinely appreciate your feedback because I need other points of view, not just my own so thank you.

Hi @Redeyedwolf, :waving_hand:

I checked out your store, it has great potential! Since you’re getting traffic from ads but not many sales, the issue is likely with conversion optimization rather than traffic itself.

Here are a few things you can do to improve your store’s performance:

:white_check_mark: 1. Improve your homepage and product presentation:

Make sure your homepage looks clean, professional, and instantly tells visitors what you sell. High-quality product images, lifestyle photos, and a short “about” section can build trust fast.

:white_check_mark: 2. Add social proof & trust signals:

Include customer reviews, testimonials, or badges like “Money-Back Guarantee” and “Secure Checkout.” These help increase confidence in first-time buyers.

:white_check_mark: 3. Optimize your product descriptions:

Go beyond basic features — focus on benefits and how your product improves the customer’s life. Use bullet points and short paragraphs.

:white_check_mark: 4. Simplify your checkout process:

Make sure there are no unnecessary steps, pop-ups, or distractions. Offering multiple payment options also helps.

:white_check_mark: 5. Use email capture & retargeting:

Add a pop-up or banner to collect emails, then run follow-up emails or retargeting ads for visitors who didn’t purchase.

You’re already getting visitors, now it’s about improving their experience and trust when they land on your site.

If you’d like, I can take a deeper look at your store and share more personalized suggestions.

Hi, thank you for the feedback!

I will work on what you mentioned.

Hi there @Redeyedwolf Let me start by saying I love the “about me” introduction on your homepage. It felt very authentic and I drew me in to your world. In addition to this, I think a great follow up suggestion would be to add an introduction video in the gallery maybe showing a highlighted process behind you created one of the water painting art works.

Hi @Redeyedwolf

  1. The banner image on the homepage can be updated with your own brand or theme image, rather than the default theme picture. This will make visitors feel like your store is not built up completely yet.

  2. The empty part concerning title section on a page can be reduced or removed, or it will leave an impression to visitor that this section is not customized properly.

  3. There is a delay of product picture loading on your website. This should be related to the picture itself or page speed on your website. You can optimize this part by using lazy-loading or compressing the image into a high resolution with smaller size, so that it can display instantly. This can be done with the help of Site Speed Up this feature as well, and you can make it as a reference.

  4. Store favicon icon is missing when searching your website in search results via Google. Better add it as it will be helpful for your brand awareness.

Hey @Redeyedwolf

One thing I noticed right away is that your “about text” at the start of the page doesn’t quite communicate your brand’s story or hook right away. Consider adding a visual image banner at the top that speaks to the essence of your brand, something that communicates what makes your store unique in a more engaging way.

Also, when I went to the product page, it took quite a few scrolls to get to the Add to Cart button. Since you already have the color and size options displayed, I’d suggest only showing those when someone clicks on the respective buttons. Showing everything at once can feel overwhelming for customers, and it might be distracting from the purchase flow.

A common feature I noticed missing in your store, especially for apparel, is the slide cart drawer. This is something a lot of stores use to enhance the shopping experience. By adding a slide cart, you can show a progress bar, upsell products, and display bundles or volume discounts, things you’re not currently taking full advantage of. This would definitely help increase your average order value (AOV) and provide a smoother checkout experience.

I’d recommend looking into iCart. It’s an easy way to manage upsells, cross-sells, bundles, and progress bars without needing multiple apps

With a few tweaks to the product pages, cart optimization, and messaging, your store will be much more user-friendly and conversion-ready. Keep at it, and best of luck!

Hi @rutvik_shop

Thank you for the feedback.

Could you give me some clarity into how I can improve the About Me section? How can I communicate my brand more? What can I use as a visual image banner?

I will look into your other recommendations.

Thank you.

Hi @Howie10

Can you tell me how you are seeing additional links there under “Contact”?

I checked on my phone and laptop and this is all I see.

Try clearing your cache or go incognito. It should be visible in the theme editor too when viewing the mobile menu.

The Store has no proper images and menu. Hero images is blank.

Even the print of demand page, is incomplete

  1. Improve Product Imagery & Presentation
  2. Better Size Guidance & Fit Assurance
  3. Add Reviews / Testimonials / UGC
  4. Upsells / Cross-sells / Bundles
  5. Clarify Stock / “Sold Out” State & Urgency

You can pick and adapt depending on what’s most feasible.

Hi Redeyedwolf,

It sounds like you’ve put a lot of effort into your store, but aren’t seeing the results you hoped for, don’t worry, you’re not alone! Here are a few key areas to focus on that could help improve your chances of making sales:

  1. Targeted Ads: If your ads are bringing people in but not converting, you might need to refine your audience targeting. Try narrowing down your ad audience based on interests or behaviors, i.e know those adding your products to carts and those abandoning your products in carts, so as to qualify leads.

  2. SEO & Content: Make sure your site is fully optimized for search engines, including product descriptions, images, and meta tags. Additionally, adding a blog or product-related content can help bring in organic traffic over time.

  3. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Take a look at your store’s user experience ensure your checkout process is simple, your product images are high-quality, and you have clear calls to action. Adding trust signals like customer reviews or guarantees can also help convert visitors into buyers.

Best regards,
Emmie.

Could you clarify “Hero images”?

Are a lot of items showing as sold out? I know that sizes are unavailable for some products but I thought the majority were available.

Hey @Redeyedwolf,

You can show video of your product video. Like people wearing your product and add your USP in that. You can make it easily by investing sometime in AI.

Concentrate on three things. First, the product pages: clear images, detailed descriptions, and social proof. Second, traffic: direct based demographics using advertising or organic posts on Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. Third, conversion: simplify the checkout process, provide first-time buyers discounts, and employ urgency triggers such as stock availability or time-limited offers.

Can I ask what you mean by clear images? I got these images from Printful who does the fulfillment. The images aren’t blurry or anything so I’m a bit confused there.
