Trust & credibility issues:

  • Contact page currently inaccessible
  • Reviewers recommend importing reviews via apps like Dadao or ShopReviews

Product presentation problems:

  • Product descriptions contain unedited ChatGPT prompts (“Sure! Here’s a clearer…”)
  • Text embedded in product images harms SEO and AI crawler visibility
  • Missing basic SEO elements: meta descriptions, H1 tags, alt text on images
  • Products look like generic AliExpress listings despite high-quality homepage

Homepage & navigation gaps:

  • Homepage feels empty with only a hero banner—no featured products displayed
  • Header/footer lack essential information and navigation elements
  • Missing product categories (best sellers, new arrivals)
  • Suggestions include using shoppable image hotspots and collection grids

Conversion optimization opportunities:

  • Add delivery ETA, inventory status, and larger/bolder pricing

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently launched Esma Tech, a Shopify store focused on fitness-oriented gadgets — including smartwatches, wearables, and innovative training gear. As someone new to the e-commerce space, I’m eager to refine the shop and build a seamless experience for fellow fitness enthusiasts.

I’d really appreciate your feedback on:

  • Store layout and ease of navigation

  • Product descriptions and branding tone

  • Visual appeal and overall user experience

  • Any suggestions to help increase engagement or conversions

Here’s the store link: [Esmatech.store]

Thanks in advance for your insights — your support means a lot as I get started.

Congrats on getting started.

I looked at this product page, and here’s my feedback: https://esmatech.store/products/fitness-hula-hoops-weighted-hula-hoop-for-adults-360-degree-auto-spinning-ball-massage-infinity-hoop-weight-loss-exercise-equipment-for-home-use

  • What jumps out to me right away is a lack of trust elements. Have stuff like (Free Returns, Moneyback Guarantee, etc. if applicable). Also, if these are AliBaba products, you can use an app like Dadao to import reviews and include them on your page.

  • You have long, copy/pasted description from ChatGPT (“Sure! Here’s a clearer and more engaging version of your product description:”). Shorten the description into bullet points (top 5 features / benefits / outcomes). You can put a longer description lower down the page.

  • Add a Delivery ETA text somewhere above the ATC button

  • Make the price larger and bolder

  • Show inventory availability (doesn’t have to be a specific number, even if it says “In stock” or “Available”)

  • Another general piece of advice; focus on brand building - logo, voice, etc. Identify who your customers are and speak to them directly. On your product page, you could have an area to highlight your brand story (builds trust and credibility)

Those are some quick things that jump out at me after looking at your product page for 30 seconds. Hope it helps.

Hi @AymiemGroup

One thing I noticed is that you aren’t displaying your products on your home page. That’s a mistake because showing your products on your home page makes it easier for visitors to find

If I were you I would create an image displaying a few products like the glasses, ring, watch, and headphones (common everyday wearables) use an app like Shoppable Image Hotspots to link to every product in the image.

This approach creates a cleaner way to navigate the store, you have more control of the user experience, and increases engagement for your store.

Another thing you can do is bundle up your products, glasses, ring, watch, and headphones. Give a discount, say $150 for the bundle.

Then, use an app like X Away From Free Shipping to allow people to “earn” free shipping and what will the “earn” free shipping price be? $149

The way the app works is that you set your Free Shipping price to $150. When people buy a watch and go to checkout they will see a progress bar on the checkout page. The progress bar will show them they need to spend $125 more to “earn” free shipping. They might be encouraged to go back and buy a pair of glasses. But will still not meet the “earn” price. Once the realize that the bundle gets them to the “earned” price. They will purchase the bundle.
This increases your sales and average order value, increasing engagement and conversions.

Hey there @AymiemGroup The store layout, design and overall user experience was quite seamless and impressive for starters. You’ve done amazing in that regard!

In terms of suggestions, I suggest adding categories for the products like best sellers and latest arrivals especially as you add more products into the inventory.

You should include some customer reviews on the site, this would help give your store a more authentic look

Lastly, I notice there’s already some form of discounts being applied with the prices. I suggest you also explore the possibilities of setting up bundle packages of your products to entice customers even more, our app the bundler app can help you largely with this, you can give it a try with the free plan.

I wish you and your store the best of luck!

Pros

  1. The site loads very quickly.

  2. The homepage images are striking and immediately draw attention.

Cons

  • The catalog products look quite ordinary. After clicking Shop from the homepage, the contrast is stark : the homepage feels high-end, but the product pages resemble AliExpress listings.

  • Many product photos contain text added in Photoshop. I strongly discourage this: embedding text in images is an inefficient way to convey information and prevents Google, ChatGPT, and other crawlers from extracting rich snippets. For examples of proper rich-media formatting, see my blog post: https://www.clickfrom.ai/blog/ai-visibility-strategy-how-to-get-chatgpt-to-drive-traffic-to-your-store. And the post includes detailed “what-not-to-do” examples that mirror your situation. Overlaying lots of text onto product images might work on Amazon or AliExpress, but for search engines and AI crawlers it’s a nightmare. It forces them to spend extra resources decoding images, so they may skip your pages entirely or push them down in Google and GPT results.

  • Basic on-page elements are missing: h1 description, meta description, or meta keywords which making it difficult for Google and other AI crawlers to understand your pages. This is fundamental SEO and AI-visibility elements.

  • There is no favicon.

  • No physical address or detailed contact information is provided. Because you serve only European customers, you should highlight where your warehouses are located in Europe to reassure buyers about delivery speed.

  • The contact page (https://esmatech.store/contact) is currently inaccessible.

Hi @AymiemGroup

I have checked your website just now and the UI design is indeed attractive, I love it!

However, concerning store SEO aspect, there exist some features missing on your store. You can take a look and optimize them accordingly with below feedback here. Thank you.

  1. Meta description is missing on your store. It is a very crucial part of your store if it is missing, as it will affect the page performance on Google very much when users search it. Kindly add the necessary meta description from Shopify admin page please and better include keywords inside as well.

  2. The main picture on the homepage is missing alt text content. If you would like the related picture indexed by Google properly, do the best to add alt text, and it will be very helpful to let Google know your page contents correctly. This is the picture URL below attached here, for your reference.

  3. Pay more attention to page situation in search results. When I search your website on Google, your store is lack of store favicon and the meta description is too long, need to optimize the length within 100–200 characters. Concerning the store favicon, please add it from Shopify customization page and after updating, the store shall have a better status gradually. You can also consider doing SEO Check under steady frequency, and it is beneficial to figure out the web page elements and fix them accordingly, a kind reminder here~

Hi @AymiemGroup !, it’s Nick here from BON Loyalty - an app that brings your business a tailored solution for customer loyalty.

First off, congratulations on getting your business up and running! Your store’s theme and product selection are quite interesting. That said, I’d love to share a few suggestions that could help enhance your store’s performance and boost conversions:

1. Your homepage feels too empty
Currently, your homepage features only a hero banner, which can make it feel a bit bare. It’s important to add more content that invites visitors to explore further. A great way to start is by showcasing featured products, like best sellers, new arrivals, or customer favorites right below the hero section. Product cards with clear pricing, quick views, or add-to-cart buttons can significantly boost user engagement.

2. Header and footer lack important information
The header acts as the primary navigation hub. Without key elements, users may feel lost. Consider adding a clear menu (Shop, About, Contact, Rewards), and a strong CTA like “Sign In” or “Get Started.” If you’re running promotions or offering free shipping, an announcement bar at the top can also drive attention. On mobile, be sure to use a responsive hamburger menu for smooth navigation.

As for the footer, it’s a great space to reinforce trust and provide easy access to essentials. Include quick links (Shipping, Returns, FAQs, Privacy Policy, Home, Collections), your contact info, social media icons.

3. Missing brand and product information
Your website should clearly communicate your brand story and product offerings. Start with an “About Us” page, share your mission, how the business started, and what sets you apart. It adds authenticity and helps visitors connect with your brand.

Also, consider adding a “Shop by Category” or “Collections” section. Group your products into collections like “New Arrivals” or “Accessories,” and display them through banners or grids on the homepage. This improves the browsing experience and guides visitors to what they’re looking for more easily.

4. Add a Customer testimonials section
Testimonials act as powerful social proof, helping new visitors feel more confident about your brand and products. To address this, consider adding a dedicated section on your homepage or product pages that features a few standout quotes from happy customers. Ideally, include their names, photos, and the product or service they used to make the feedback feel more authentic

I hope this advice helps improve your website’s performance. Keep up the great work on your site!

Hi @AymiemGroup ,
I took a quick look at your Esmatech store, and it looks nice and organized. Your product page for the 360° Weighted Fitness Hula Hoop has good information and looks clean. But I found a few things that can make your store better and help you get more customers:

  1. Add a newsletter signup, contact details, and social media links at the bottom of your site (footer). This helps visitors reach you, get updates about new products or offers, and feel more confident to buy from you.
  2. For a fitness product like this, honest reviews from customers can help increase sales. You can use apps like ShopReviews-ShopReviews ‑ Product Reviews - ShopReviews - Boost your sales with product reviews | Shopify App Store to collect and show these reviews easily.
  3. Make sure your website works well on phones and tablets. Make images load fast without losing quality, and make sure fonts and buttons are easy to see and use on small screens. This will make shopping easier for everyone.
  4. If you also sell your products on Etsy, you can use an app like ShopList-Etsy Integration ‑ ShopList - ShopList - seamless integration between Shopify and Etsy | Shopify App Store. This app connects your Shopify store with Etsy so your orders and products stay updated automatically. It saves you time and makes managing sales easier.

Thank you,
Waytoapps.
