Hello if you guys could give feedback on the store, it would be appreciated. All types of criticism welcome, from design to products.
The visual layer is genuinely good, so I’d skip that. The gap is that nothing on the site turns a visitor’s situation into a product choice — you’ve got four products doing three different jobs, and the store presents all four the same way.
Look at what the catalogue actually spans: the HEPA purifier removes something (dust, dander, smoke), the humidifier adds something (moisture), the portable one does the first in a different place, and the diffuser is an atmosphere product. Someone with dry skin and someone with a cat need opposite things from you. Right now both get the same grid, sorted by price — and sorting by price answers “which is cheapest”, which is nobody’s first question here.
The homepage has the same shape. “Small comforts for everyday spaces” is true of all four products, so it can’t distinguish between them, and the hero image is doing brand work (comfort, calm, home) where decision work is needed — nothing in it speaks to room size, noise, or what the thing actually improves.
Three fixes, in the order I’d do them:
- Add a shop-by-need row on the homepage and above the collection grid. Dry bedroom → humidifier. Allergies and dust → HEPA. Small desk → mini. Travel → portable. Relaxation → diffuser. Five links, hand-written. With four products you don’t need filtering logic — which is exactly why it’s cheap now and gets expensive later.
- Quantify the claims already on the page. The mini humidifier is called “Multifunctional Mini Silence” at $29.99, and neither “multifunctional” nor “silence” is defined in the buy box. A decibel figure, coverage area, runtime and tank size are the highest-value edits on that page, because you’re already making the claim and currently not supporting it.
- Answer the risk questions specific to this product, near the buy box — will it leak, is it safe running overnight, how annoying is it to clean, what if I don’t like it. Those come from it being a small appliance that runs unattended in a bedroom; they aren’t a generic trust checklist.
Hello @felixcommerce Thanks for reaching out to Shopify community with your concern. The homepage looks good, the color combination looks good. But since you have only 4 products on the store, it looks off when you go to the product page. I would want to read and get more information about the product. Make the product information more visualize using A+ content and make different page templates for that. About us page looks bit off. Do add more content with images or videos if possible.
But here’s something interesting. You previously had a different store 5c5897-96.myshopify.com in 2024 and posted this exact same inquiry here under a different username https://community.shopify.com/t/need-feedback-i-can-take-criticism/ and screenshots show that same exact humidifier. wierd…
Moving on… Nice color scheme on homepage. But it’s just another dropshipping site. Same as hundreds of thousands. Ali/temu products. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen that same exact diffuser in this forum
…
Only 4 products. Using gmail. Yada yada yada. this domain is what like 4 days old? Contact menu has headset icon yet no phone number. Not a single real image, including product images, on the site.
Same old “curated” word. Why does every dropshipper use that word? Is that what Sidekick tells you to put? Lol
@felixcommerce Overall, the store looks clean and professional, especially the branding and homepage. A Shopify & CRO perspective, I’d focus on a few areasnstrengthen the product pages with clearer benefits and trust signals, add reviews/UGC, make shipping/returns and delivery expectations more visible, and improve the above-the-fold product section so the value proposition is immediately clear. The collection page also has quite a lot of empty space. The foundation is solid, but I’d optimize the product pages and trust elements before driving serious traffic.
Hi @felixcommerce ,
I hope you are having a great day. The overall user experience of the store looks good, and you’ve selected a great color palette that complements the products well. However, we could strengthen the store’s credibility by adding trust signals, such as trust icons, customer reviews, and testimonials, especially on the homepage and product pages. This would help build more trust with potential customers and make the store feel more authentic and reliable.
Best Regards,
Hi @felixcommerce ,
Went through the homepage, a product page, navigation, and footer. This is honestly one of the more polished stores I’ve reviewed in this thread good foundation, but a couple of specific things worth fixing.
What’s genuinely good:
- Clear, coherent niche (home comfort humidifiers, purifiers, diffusers) with a consistent brand voice throughout (“A little room to unwind,” “Small comforts for everyday spaces”). This doesn’t read like a generic dropship store, it reads like an actual brand with a point of view.
- Product page structure is solid organized accordions (Overview / Specs / What’s Included / Care & Delivery), clear feature callouts (replaceable filter, adjustable fan, USB powered).
- Footer/trust pages are complete: About, FAQ, Shipping, Returns, Privacy, Terms, nothing obviously missing.
- Navigation is clean and matches the two-category structure (Humidifiers / Purifiers) without overcomplicating it.
What I’d fix, in priority order:
1. Zero reviews anywhere. Checked the product page directly, no review count, no stars, no review app installed at all that I could find. This is the single biggest gap given everything else about the store looks legitimate and considered, the lack of any social proof stands out precisely because the rest of the site looks professional enough that a visitor might expect reviews to be there.
2. Inconsistent product naming. Your featured products mix two very different naming styles: “GlowMist 180ml Essential Oil Diffuser” and “Loaero Compact HEPA Air Purifier” sound branded and considered, but “Multifunctional Mini Silence Air Humidifier” and “Portable Mini Air Purifier” read like raw supplier/AliExpress listing titles pasted in directly. That inconsistency undercuts the brand polish you’ve built everywhere else, worth renaming those two to match your actual brand voice (like you clearly did for GlowMist).
3. Support email is a plain Gmail address (loaerosupport@gmail.com) rather than something on your own domain. Small thing, but for a store that otherwise presents as an established, considered brand, a Gmail support address is one of the faster “wait, is this a real company” tells for a skeptical buyer.
Overall: the brand and structure work is genuinely ahead of most stores I see here the fixes needed are narrower and more surgical than “redesign this,” which is a good place to be.

Titan from Shopplaza
Open Online Store > Themes > Customize, switch to mobile preview, and check a product page. Ensure price, variant picker, and Add to cart are visible without scrolling. In Products > Collections, group your four items by job (air cleaning, humidity, scent) so the menu maps to needs. In Settings > Shipping and delivery, confirm your free shipping offer matches what checkout shows. Add a returns/FAQ page under Online Store > Pages and link it in the footer. Also check Analytics > Reports > Online store speed; large hero videos often hurt mobile conversion.
Hi, @felixcommerce
I had a look through Loaero, and I think the branding fits the “everyday comfort” angle really well. I’d focus less on redesigning the store and more on removing a few things that could make a first-time visitor hesitate.
Help visitors choose the right product
You have humidifiers, diffusers, HEPA purifiers and an ionizer, so I’d make the differences between them even clearer. A simple “Which one is right for you?” sections with use cases like bedroom, desk, small room, allergies, relaxation, etc. could make product discovery much easier.
Give customers more reasons to buy
On the product pages, I’d bring practical details closer to the Add to Cart area - things like room coverage, noise level, runtime, filter replacement, what’s included and who the product is best suited for. These details can answer the questions customers have before they commit.
Strengthen the trust information
I noticed the site currently mentions that some shipping and return details are still being finalized. Since these are new products/brands, I’d make the final delivery timeframe, return conditions and support information very clear before sending more traffic to the store.
Make the homepage more product-focused
The homepage has a nice lifestyle feel, but I’d give the products a little more space above the fold. Something like “Not sure what you need? Start here” with 2-3 clear choices could get visitors into the right product faster.
Mobile + speed
I’d also test the full journey on mobile - especially product selection, variants, Add to Cart and checkout. The PageSpeed Insights report currently doesn’t have enough real-user data for the page, so I wouldn’t judge the store purely by the score, but it’s still worth checking the lab diagnostics for image loading and scripts that could slow the mobile experience.
You could also consider tools like Website Speedy for image and page-speed optimization if performance turns out to be an issue. It’s completely optional to use.
Disclaimer: I’m affiliated with Website Speedy.
You can’t judge store design from a desktop preview alone. In Shopify admin go to Online Store > Themes > Customize, switch to the mobile icon, and walk the homepage, a product page and the cart at around 390px wide. Check the announcement bar wrapping, product grid spacing, and whether the buy button sits above the fold without scrolling. Then review media under Content > Files and each product’s images: files over roughly 200KB or wider than 2048px slow mobile loads with no visible gain. Last, since “free standard shipping on every order” appears in your meta description, confirm Settings > Policies > Shipping policy actually states that and the footer links to it.
The feedback above covers positioning and page content. Before changing the theme, fix the catalogue structure. In Shopify admin, go to Products > Collections and create need-based collections (e.g. Humidifiers, Purifiers, Diffusers), then add them under Online Store > Navigation so the header gives visitors a path beyond four product pages. On each product page, add a specs block via Settings > Custom data (tank size, coverage area, noise level, filter type) and render it in the theme so buyers can compare. Also verify Settings > Policies has shipping, refund and privacy pages filled out, and check the mobile preview in Online Store > Themes > Customize. Those changes often matter more than another homepage tweak.
Hi @felixcommerce Welcome To Shopify Community So Overall the design has a nice calm, minimal aesthetic that fits the comfort branding well. A few things I’d flag: the shipping FAQ says Processing, destination eligibility and any additional charges are being finalized for launch that reads as unfinished/pre-launch to a customer, which can hurt trust right before checkout. Same with the returns page being described as “draft” and using a Gmail address for support rather than a branded domain email both are small details but they signal the store isn’t fully live yet, which is a red flag for first-time buyers. I’d also add customer reviews on product pages if you don’t have them yet, since air-care/wellness products rely heavily on social proof. Otherwise the product photography and copy tone are solid and consistent. please do not forget to like and mark it solution
I had a proper look through Loaero, and overall I think you’ve built a solid foundation. The branding feels consistent and the product range is focused, which is a good starting point.
The biggest area I’d work on isn’t necessarily the design itself, but the customer journey and conversion strategy.
You have different types of air-care products, so I’d make it much easier for a visitor to understand which product is right for their specific need for example, room type, use case, air quality, humidity, sleep, etc. A guided “Which Loaero product is right for me?” approach could work really well here.
I’d also look closely at product-page hierarchy, social proof, product comparisons, trust/reassurance elements and how you move someone from discovering a product → understanding its value → adding to cart.
There are a few other things I noticed around product presentation and the overall conversion flow, but those are the areas I’d prioritize first.
Overall, I wouldn’t say the store needs a complete redesign. I’d focus more on turning the existing foundation into a stronger conversion system.
Before adding to the design feedback already here, worth addressing what was flagged above: if this is genuinely the same store and product photos posted under a different account back in 2024, that’s worth clarifying directly rather than letting the thread continue as if it’s a fresh first-time review.
If that’s accurate, the more useful question isn’t more new feedback, it’s what’s changed since then. A lot of what’s being pointed out now - the Gmail support address, the “still being finalized” shipping/returns pages, only four generic products - is the same category of issue that tends to get raised on a first review. If none of that’s been addressed in two years, another round of the same suggestions probably won’t move things forward either.
Happy to keep helping either way, it’s just worth being upfront about the history here so the feedback in this thread lands somewhere useful rather than repeating a cycle.
Best,
Vikash Jha - Apploy
Thank you everyone for the feedback
Completely new, i was lazy and abandoned the 2024 one. Restarting this project fresh
