Hi there,
I have been working and building a custom shopify app in development store. I wasn’t aware about the type of development store to use so created test and build type and now I cannot transfer the ownership to merchant.
To create new development store is nightmare as significant amount of work has been done in the store.
If anybody can help, it would be great relief..

Basically I went through the tutorial to transfer the store where It was like we have to click actions button and transfer ownership will appear but I am unable to see the transfer ownership button anywhere near that.
May be it was not appearing due to my store type which is not transferable.
Have you tried to contact Shopify Support yet? If not, I’d suggest you to do that first so that you also don’t lose your work as well.

You can contact Shopify support by clicking here. I would suggest to directly connect with live chat, you’ll see a chat button in the bottom right corner. You’ll have to bypass the AI chat first by simply saying to connect you with a live agent and then the AI will connect you to live chat.
