Alternative to Generalised Facebook/Instagram Ads targets

when i started selling on shopify my biggest challenge was how to drive sales to my store, my target was to drive traffic to my store and i rushed to create ads as we most of us do on Facebook and co and yes i got traffic but very limited sales as compared to my investment on these ads, in my opinion due to the generalised nature of the target audience in social media, it is very difficult to convert sales, i know am not supposed to mention names since this is not a sponsored post but i found that dealing with a platform that already has an audience driven by the same interest say sports brings better sales conversions to my store. i tried this with a company ( Influnet Global ) and the journey has been made easier, what are the better, cost friendly alternative advertising would you recommend?

I am struggling with this as well. I feel stuck and not sure where to start.

It’s a common challenge to most startups and many give up after spending too much on advertising without corresponding sales, I had recommended an alternative in the topic, it worked for me probably you should try that and see how it goes
