What changes are needed to accept special characters in a domain name?

I want to buy à domaine name but I can’t because they told me that the adresse don’t accept special caractère but I don’t now what I have to change pelasses help me

You’re encountering this error because our domain providers require the billing information to only have characters from the English alphabet. Since this is the case, you can temporarily change your billing information to only have English characters as a workaround to be able to buy a domain. You can head over to Settings > Store details to edit your billing address as well as your phone number if needed. You need to take note of the following:

  • Ensure there are no special characters (e.g. åäö - ÅÄÖ) in your details. You can temporarily replace them with their counterpart (eg: aao - AAO).
  • Make sure your phone number is written in the correct format.

After you successfully purchase the domain, you can change the characters back. It will not affect domain renewals.
