does anyone know why i’m receiving this message?
Hi
This is Victor from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App
This is known as a global issue on Safar, but it is only happening on a few specific versions.
The root of the cause is that your site page has too many custom code that is requested and redirect which lead to low performance on Safari and pop out the error.
To hot fix this, you can disable on IOS: Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
Or you can update to an upper version of IOS
But this is for a hotfix for your device only, and the issue is still there. So I suggest you fix the issue in the root ( theme code first )
Hope this can help you solve the issue
Best regards,
Victor | PageFly
Hi, @asshleybanks .
Welcome to the Shopify Community!
To gather a bit of context, is this only occurring on a mobile device using a Safari browser? Does it also occur on other devices and browsers?
Upon searching this Safari error message, I recommend clearing your cache and cookies as you may have pages still cached in the browser and this is causing the redirect issue. Below, I’ll share steps on how to clear your cache on an iPhone device. For more information on clearing your cache, I’ll share Apple’s iPhone User Guide.
Let us know if you’re still experiencing issues after clearing your cache and trying in an alternate browser.
hi victoria, it seems to work now. my domain should bbs AshleyBanks.net , but it redirects to my shopify url. how do i fix that,
Thanks for your reply, @asshleybanks .
Upon checking the domain AshleyBanks.net, it does not point to Shopify. The A Record is not valid. If you haven’t done so already, you will need to point the A record to the Shopify IP address: 23.227.38.65. This can be done directly within your third-party domain provider account under DNS/domain management area. It may take up to 48 hours for your domain to be connected. We have more information included in our connecting your third-party domain to Shopify manually resource.
Once you’ve successfully connected your domain to Shopify, you can click the domain AshleyBanks.net and set it as your primary domain. Once the primary domain is changed, the new primary domain is displayed to customers who visit your online store and they will no longer see your .myshopify.com URL. Check out our changing your primary domain resource for steps on how to set your primary domain.
Thank you. It says SSL pending, is that a good sign?
An SSL pending domain status indicates that the SSL certificate is still pending on your domain and is not ready to be active. This displays when you’ve added a custom domain to your store, it creates an SSL certificate and the domain may take up to 48 hours to be verified. This will show as SSL pending next to your domain under Settings > Domains.
I was able to check your DNS records for your domain AshleyBanks.net, and all records point to Shopify. I also navigated to your storefront with no error messages or issues. Is there still an SSL pending message next to your domain?
Looking forward to your reply!
