Why am I not receiving my domain verification email?

Hi,

I have requested a verification email for my domain multiple times but still haven’t received one. I used login via Apple-ID but still receive all of the other Shopify emails. Please help me!!!

To gather a bit more context, are you seeing an Action Required banner within your Shopify admin? Could you ensure you’re checking the email’s spam and junk folder as well?

There are additional steps you can take to help push the verification email through. You’ll need to change/update the email address associated with your domain, to something that’s not associated with your custom domain. For better visibility, I’ll share the steps below on how to update your email address.

Sending a verification email:

  • Navigate to your Shopify admin > Settings > Domains section.

  • Select the domain you’d like to edit.

  • A drop-down menu labelled Domain settings will appear.

  • Select Edit contact information from the drop-down menu.

  • You can then edit the email address to an inbox you have access to, at which time the verification email will be resent.
