Why are my active items not displaying on my page?

My items say active but there is nothing on my page. what can i do

Thanks for reaching out today with your situation regarding your items not appearing in your store. I have a few ideas as to why this may be happening.

First, even though the products are ‘active’, they may not be available on the online store sales channel. You can double-check this by doing the following steps:

  • Go to ‘Products’ and select one of the products that should be showing but is not.
  • Once you’ve clicked your product, on the right side you should see a section called ‘Sales Channels and Apps’. Click on ‘manage’ that appears in this section. Make sure that the box is checked off next to ‘Online Store’.
  • After you’ve done this, check your website and see if the products are appearing.

Another reason why your products may not be appearing is because they are not in a collection yet. Have you made any collections in your store yet? You will want to add these products to that collection, make sure the collection is available to the ‘online store’ sales channel, and then your products can start appearing.

  • Login to your admin and navigate to ‘Online Store’.
  • There will be a section that will show your live theme, click the green ‘customize’ button within it.
  • From there, you will be inside of your Theme Editor. On the left side menu, you should see the option that says ‘Featured Product’, or click on ‘Add Section’ at the bottom of this menu to add a ‘Featured Product’ section to the homepage.
  • From there, click on ‘Featured Product’. At the top of the left hand menu that appears, there will be a button allowing you to select a product. Click that button and then you should be able to select a product to feature on your home page.
  • Click ‘Save’ and your product should appear on your homepage
