Why are my website visits not converting into sales?

Hey Shopify folks,

Hope everyone’s doing great. I’ve hit a bit of a snag with my website and I reckon your insights might be just what I need to sort it out.

Here’s the deal: my site’s been pulling in 4.6K visitors, mostly from the USA, but the sales aren’t matching up with the traffic. Just to give you an idea, 30 items got tossed into carts, but only 2 ended up getting sold.

I’ve tried a bunch of different ad platforms to get the word out there. Pinterest got me 14K impressions and a 2.19% click-through rate (CTR), and even better, both sales came from there.

Meta, on the other hand, gave me a higher CTR at 5.71% from 9K impressions, but no sales to show for it.

TikTok gave another 14K impressions, but also no sales. I’ve just added Google Ads into the mix as well.

The real pain point here is that my ad budget’s taking a hit, but the sales aren’t quite justifying the spend. That’s where I could use some advice.

My main aim is to up my site’s conversion rate.

To help you get a clearer picture, I’ve attached a screenshot of my domain (left out to keep Google from indexing it).

If you’ve got any tips or ideas on where I might be going wrong or how I could ramp things up, I’d really appreciate it.

Hey!

So in my opinion, what needs to be done is you need to focus on redesigning and optimizing your site for conversions. Looking at your website. It could definitely use some work, so i’d highly reccomend you to work on your landing page and the content on your site.

Now if you’re site looks great & appealing, and you’r still lacking the sales. The issue comes down to the marketing. How’s your ads setup? and a new campaign must be done in order to convert to sales.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I think I need to work on my landing page. Regarding ads, I tried different platforms. If we talking about Facebook, it was obviously “Conversions” Campaign. Tried pictures, videos, carousel. But I didn’t let it run continuously, mostly I just shut the ad after 24 hrs, due to the lack if budget
