Hi. I was facing a similar issue. 20% of my products synced but the rest were going into the suspended folder. I checked and found out that the descriptions of my products mentioned payment through PayPal. As soon as I removed that from descriptions, my products got activated.
So just check once if your products are going into suspended folder.
After much research this is what I came up with as well was just coming here for confirmation. Thank. you for posting this.
After conducting thorough research and exploring various methods to integrate Shopify and TikTok, it has become evident that utilizing an app as a connector is essential. Fortunately, I’ve discovered a complimentary app that has been performing exceptionally well for me. While many recommend SKU IQ, the cost of $45 per month for 400 orders seems exorbitant. It’s unreasonable to pay such a fee for a connection that, in my opinion, Shopify should have seamlessly facilitated by now. For those interested, I suggest visiting the Shopify app store and searching for “Quick Sync.” I’ll share the link below for your convenience. Wishing everyone the best of luck in your endeavors!
The best solution for me was to download 3rd party connector
Sku IQ
Sync Through there into the “TikTok Seller Center” I had to check “Drafts” if they weren’t showing in the “Active” Listings. Then had to get each listing reviewed, then approved one by one, for them to become active listings.
My guess is TikTok is using the product SKU as it’s unique identifier. Well, we use the SKU field as the literal “store keeping unit”… it’s the address of where it’s located physically in our inventory. That means some SKUs are repeated and it also means SKUs are updated and changed as slots become empty and are reused for other products.
So far all of the items I’ve had syncing problems with have been SKU difference I believe.
So what is the solution?
Now third-party integration apps can solve this problem. They now support one-click batch syncing of Shopify products to TikTok shop, as well as syncing orders from TikTok Shop to Shopify’s seller center. Navigating to the TikTok App Store you can find some solid integration apps such as Datech ShopSync. I’m trying it out and it’s great for new stores that are getting started.
THIS!!! Thank you so much for this post - I was able to successfully sync products between Shopify & TikTok using this connector. It’s really annoying to have to do this and I wasted 3 days trying to figure out the warehouse sync error! It is an extra step, once you list your products on Shopify, you have to go to the connector and then sync to TikTok from there. Sigh… at least it works now.
I have the same problem.
Hi All, I am based in Australia and I see the Shop Management tab on the shopify TT app, however, I don’t seem to be able to create a seller account as it does not give the option for Australia? Only US, Asia and Europe…
Not sure if there any chance of syncing the products to my TT business page…
