Why did my online store suddenly become inactive?

My Shopify went unavailable and set inactive for no apparent reason. NO EMAIL NOTICE RECEIVED! I spent over a year building my Business and it took Shopify 1 week to take ruin it. It causing tremendous harm on my business financially. My business just launched and I spent money running ads. This is extremely unacceptable.

You mentioned you did not get an email out about this, but I’d still advise you to double-check by looking in your email provider’s spam or other folders to see if any contact might have been filtered there.

Thank you for responding Don.I have checked everything and still nothing. Just to let you know, It’s extremely difficult to reach out to Shopify Chat Support because they keep bringing the customers back to the Information section not the actual support. However, I was able to reach out to one of your teammates, his name is Mack and he told me that the case would be escalated quickly. I have not received anything yet. ticket number 30211630 . Can you please check the status for me?

Wow i am LITERALLY in the same exact position. Store went inactive for NOTHING. They told me the same thing, that it would be quickly escalated and still nothing. This is HORRIBLE. Shopify really needs to do better

The Risk assessment team actually responded to me and giving me BS reasons. I was told that it was due to the charge that was refunded to my account. to be clear the regular bill for my shopify subscription is paid.I did a trial on a mobile app builder Vajro and I was not given a notice or option to cancel the trial. after that I reached out multiple times to Shopify support and Vajro before and after the payment got automatically deducted from my bank. I was given an instruction and I followed it just like they told me. the amount that was refunded to me by my bank it was the amount of the third party app that was trying to charge me for 399.99. Shopify neglected my inquiries and I was promised to get an answer as soon as possible. I’ve provided my proof and chat transcript for every single interactions I had with their supports. I am excited too see their lame reasons soon. NOW MY BUSINESS IS LAYING DEAD WHILE ADS ARE RUNNING. My bills are paid. the third party app charge was refunded. This has nothing to do with my shopify account!
