Why did my sales suddenly drop in March?

  • Another merchant reports the same pattern: decline in March–April, brief improvement for a few days in May, then a renewed downturn.

We launched our site in the middle of last year and have steadily been building the brand. The first two months of this year were excellent. However, as soon as we entered March sales took a dive and we’re left scratching our heads as to why?

Nothing on the website drastically changed, traffic has remained constant but phone calls, emails and sales have declined.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi @RolandCLS ,

I do notice this, it started on March-April and it was good for few days in May, but now, started to go down again. I did also upgraded to GA4, and thought that might be an issue. I updated my SEO as well. I do see a lot of changes Shopify did and probably had affected our store performance. Please contact Shopify support regarding this so they make this issue as high priority.
