need help/advice :: shopify store sales plummeting since march

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to this community in hopes of finding some guidance and solutions for my Shopify store, which has been around for over three years. Here’s some background:

  • Store Info: We sell brand-name items in the home furnishings industry, with around 75,000 SKUs.

  • Sales History: We’ve generated many many sales during this time, with fairly steady historical sales data with trends.

  • Ad Spend: Used to spend $1,500/day on Google Ads.

However, since March 2024, my sales have fallen by 90% and continue to decline. I’m nearing a desperate point and can’t seem to pinpoint the issue. Here’s a summary of what I’ve been facing:

  • Conversion Rate Drop: It went from 2% down to 0.65%.

  • Possible Factors: I’m unsure if the issue is related to changes in Google, MPN, schema, or my ads configuration.

I’ve tried multiple approaches to diagnose and fix the problem, but nothing seems to work. If anyone has experienced similar issues or has any insights, I would greatly appreciate your advice. Here are some specific areas where I could use help:

  1. Google Ads Configuration: Any tips on optimizing and troubleshooting issues?

  2. Schema and MPN: Could recent changes in these areas affect my store’s performance?

  3. General E-commerce Advice: Any other potential factors I might be overlooking?
