Why does the product description on one page change the product description on all other pages?
On a product page I add a “product description” function and change the text. But this text eventually changes the description in all other products. Can you please tell me how to fix this problem?

It sounds like you are writing your product description in the theme editor instead of the product detail page in your Shopify admin. When you make changes in your theme editor you are actually editing a template that is applied to multiple pages by default. For example, when you edit a product page in your theme editor, you are editing your Default product page template which is applied to all of your products, unless you manually change which template a product uses. To add a product description for a product you’ll want to do this by going to Products in your Shopify admin, selecting the product you’d like to edit, and entering the description into the Description text box like in the screenshot shown below. This will ensure each product has a unique description.
