Hi there @fivestar77 ! I can definitely look into this with you. Do you have any screenshots of the error you’re seeing? Also, which payment gateways do you currently have active on your store?
The first thing I would recommend here is to check your subscripton. The checkout will only work on a store with an active subscription. You can check your subscription by going to Settings > Plan in your Shopify Admin. If you haven’t chosen a plan yet you can find more information on them here. If you tell me a bit more about your business I’d also be able to help you choose one to sart with.
Sometimes this error will also appear if the store is a development store. If you are a Shopify Partner and this store happens to be a development store, it would need to be transferred to the client before the checkout is activated. You can read more about transferring the ownership of development stores here. If you are a Shopify Partner with a development store, keep in mind that if you transfer ownership of the store to yourself you will need to contact the Partner support team to remove the commission on the store. Earning a commission on your own development store would be grounds for dismissal from the Partner program.
If you’ve confirmed that your store is on an active subscription I would then double check that your payment gateway is completely set up and not in test mode. You can check this by going to Settings > Payments and reviewing your payment gateways.
