However, we do not manage or have any involvement. In this case, if you cannot get in touch with the business that you have made a purchase from - it would be best to speak with your bank or credit card company. They will have processes aimed to retrieve your funds for the online purchase.
Why would my Bank help in retrieving the funds, as I myself made the payment using UPI.
The vendor did not got the money through some fraudulent way.
So Bank cannot help me in any way.
I have a question, that if you do not have any control over the vendors who are using your platform for offering goods and getting money, then your platform would definitely become a lucrative way to loot people, by just displaying fake products and getting money.
Request you to please share the contact details of the vendor, so that I can contact them. The mail ID mentioned in the order confirmation mail is no longer active.
Please support in resolving such issues, as these vendors are misusing your portal for coercing money.
I can certainly understand that this situation is not ideal for you. Shopify has a zero tolerance for fraudulent behaviour on the platform. With that being said, I do not have any store specific information from the Community forums to provide. If you have been charged for an order you did not receive - speaking with your bank or credit card company would be the best way to have a further look into the transaction.
The Link which you have sent for reporting asks for the order url, however the url is no more active, and your site doesn’t accepts the complaint if the url is not active. So how can I report the issue against merchant ?
This is really giving a bad name to your platform. Many more customers are being looted on your platform similarly.
