@Dirk @shopifysupport I placed an order for dresses worthy of Rs. 2,199 in the Stylish Kurta Store, which is a certified Shopify store. There is no response from the seller’s end regarding the order’s shipping and delivery details. I received my order confirmation through SMS and mail after the payment. Further, I tried opening the link provided along with the confirmation; it worked yesterday and provided the details regarding the order, but today the link is not working and the site is also not working. I tried to register a complaint through Shopify’s help center and support, but it shows my order confirmation URL, which I received through mail from the seller, is invalid and I am unable to register a complaint. As Shopify is a platform used by many merchants to sell online, we are unable to manage day-to-day operations or intervene in the order process. If however, you placed an order online, I’d encourage you to check out our Order FAQ Page for more information. It outlines that if after 4 weeks you still have not received your order, we recommend contacting your bank for steps on how to proceed.
It’s important to note that Shopify is a platform used by many merchants to sell both online and in person, and would not have access to their day-to-day operations or orders. Ultimately it’s recommended that that you contact your bank and/or payment provider directly. This will ensure that the appropriate guidance can be given as well as the next steps on how to retrieve funds to get this resolved.
