Why have our product variants suddenly disappeared from our ecommerce site?

Our site has been hosted on Shopify for 7+ years. We have not made any big changes, and utilize the product variants and drop downs on our product pages for customers to choose between options. Today we realized that the second variant on over 100 products just DISAPPEARED. The drop down on our site is still active, but there’s nothing to choose from. When going to the product pages, the second variant for each of those products is GONE. Shopify deleted them ALL!

@Shopify_77 is there a way to get them back!?!?!?! This is NOT a theme issue, this is strictly a Shopify issue. Why would our second variant on over 100 products be DELETED?

That is definitely a concerning issue.

Unfortunately, it’s difficult to provide support for something like this without having access to the store itself. However, are you using any third party apps? Or, have you imported any Product CSVs lately?

I am having a similar issue. All my variants are showing out of stock and their reflective images have disappeared. Can you say what could cause this?
