Why is my credit card being declined on Shopify?

hope everyone is fine. I have a problem refusing a credit card when linked with shopify to pay the dues, knowing that the same card was accepted in another store for me. Is there any solution to this problem?

Just to clarify, are you experiencing an issue while trying to pay for your Shopify subscription fees with your credit card? If so, please ensure that your card meets the following requirements:

  • It should be a debit card or a post-paid credit card (pre-paid credit cards may not be supported, but they could still work).
  • The card should be co-branded with Visa, Mastercard, or Amex.
  • It should be capable of accepting international charges in USD.
  • The card should be able to make online purchases.
  • It should be capable of accepting recurring billing.
  • Sufficient funds should be available on the card.
  • The billing address and details entered should match the information on file with your bank.
  • There should be no restrictions on the maximum amount the bank allows to be processed at once.

Please note that credit cards usually come pre-enabled for international transactions in USD, but debit cards or hybrid debit/credit cards may require you to enable this feature with your card provider. If you are unsure whether your card accepts recurring international payments in USD or if you are located outside the US, it is recommended to contact your card issuer for clarification.
