Why isn't my updated Refund Policy showing on my online store?

I am trying to update my online store Refund Policy page. I have followed the Shopify guide at this link:
https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/pages#add-content-to-a-webpage

I was able to edit and save the page successfully, again and again, and again. Still, the update does not show on my store after refreshing the page. I thought it might be a Chrome/Cache issue. I ended the session and tried FireFox. Still, no update. Suggestions please.

Hi @Greg15

Try looking at your Settings → Legal pages there, they might be generated from a different place.

Let me know!

Hi, @Greg15!

@JHKCreate is correct! You may need to check into you Legal settings where the policy templates are located. The policy templates in this section are usually the policies that sync to your website storefront. So it is best to update your Refund Policy within these settings and then check the storefront for this change.

However, please do let me know if you’re still having trouble with this so we can look into this further.

Okay - the policy templates are well hidden - how do I find them? Here is a screen shot of what I see when I click on Settings. There is nothing that says Templates or Legal. If I click on Policy I am back where I started.

Hi @Greg15

Can you share with us the link of the policy page you are trying to change? If the setup was done through a page the Policy section in the menus wouldn’t be the correct place to change them.

Let us know!

I want to change the refund policy that you can see at this link:
https://gregorycox.com/policies/refund-policy

Apologies, this would usually be in the Policies section of the screenshot you have sent through. However, if this is where you have been trying to edit the policies but the changes are still not syncing over, this may mean you have the Refund Policy saved elsewhere.

Are you able to go through to Online Store > Pages and search for a page that you may have labelled Refund Policy ?

Once you find this, go ahead and edit this (remember to save) and check if it has saved on your storefront.

Let me know if this still does not work.
