so Ive deactivated my shop but there is still some outstanding payouts (from shopify) left which were pending, will this still be paid to my account despite my shopify being deactivated

Great question! Even if you have deactivated your Shopify store and have payouts yet to be paid, then you will still receive those payouts no matter what status the store is currently in. Shopify Payments works independently from the regular Shopify subscription service. You can cancel your account, and any pending payouts would be paid on your scheduled payout date.
Have you not received it yet? When did you close your store, and do you know when the payout was scheduled to arrive?
