Wisepad 3 needs reconnecting every morning

Hi

on Sunday we switched from our old card readers to the new Wisepad 3s (x 2 machines and 2 ipads).

We followed the instructions, forgetting and disconnecting the old machines and resetting the POS account. Then connecting the wisepad3 - so far so good. However if we restart the ipad then the POS app doesnt find wisepad3 instead it is searching for the old machines.

So far this week every day we have to forget the old card machines and connect afresh to the wisepad3. I’m sure this wasn’t what shopify intended but it is terrible and frustrating.

Has anyone else encountered this and found a resolution??

Same here - does not work and I doubt it will. Another joke move from Shopify

Same here. Old card reader is still in settings and can’t get rid of. Removed from IPad blootooth settings. Also sometimes stops processing contactless payments for no reason and freezes POS.

We have had the same problem. Even disconnecting and connecting and refreshing from all apps doesn’t resolve this. We have been in touch with shopify, and tried the steps they recommended but to no avail. @Shopify_77 do you have any further advice, is this a wide spread issue with the wisepad?

Ours seems to have resolved now since the last update

New update got rid of problem of old card machine appearing. But we still have re-connect every morning Shopify and wisepad3 by re-starting IPad. Nothing else seem to work. We tried all recommendations from Shopify
