How can I get the “ca ching” sound notification on my android phone OR computer when I sell someting in my shopify store…? Thank You!

In order to get a sound notification on your phone when new orders are made, you need to install the Shopify mobile app.
Then you can change the setting of the app to allow notifications. It should be located at Settings > Push notifications.

As @AvadaCommerce has made a fantastic answer, I wanted to just mention that your volume and phone are not on silent as well as your phone is updated to the latest version of the operating system.

How does one revert back to the original “cha ching” instead of the really annoying “you’ve got sales” alert I’ve been getting?
