How to turn on notifications on my phone so I know when a sale is made

I have a Samsung and I have tried everything to turn on notifications when a sale is made and everything is indicating that it will notify me when a sale is made, however, that is not the case.

Is there a way to make the app make the Cha-Ching noise when a sale is made? I mean I have it turned on but I could be missing something here.

Shopify has it’s own built in feature to notify you when a sale is made. First check that either you anable notifications on your mobile or not.

  • Open Shopify app on your phone.
  • Tap on Settings (from bottom right corner).
  • Go to Notifications. And make sure “New Order” is enabled. Sound is set to “Cha-Ching (if available).”.

But in mostly case due to setting out of your Samsung mobile cause this issue.
Here is how you can troubleshoot your Notification issue in your mobile.

  • Open Settings and then apps.
  • Find Shopify.
  • Tap on Notifications and ensure Notifications are allowed and Sound is enabled.
  • Make sure turn of “Don’t Disturb me mood”.

Hi,

Everything checks out, samsung has shopify all allowed to send notifications and even shopify is set up to send notifications to me and my phone model matches my phone and all. I just sent a test notification and still nothing. No idea what is happening.
