Hi @BuyMorePerfumes ,

Good luck on your new journey! I checked your website and found small improvement points. Hope it helps!

  1. Search bar is overlapping with neighbor components. As shown on the screenshot. Also, when search bar is not focus (i.e clicked outside of the search bar) it is getting a little bigger which it should be opposite. probably you wanted to add some border to the bar but this border is added inside of the component which causes decreasing of inner area of the bar.

  1. When i clicked “view catalog”, dropdown shows the list of collections/categories with no text as shown on the ss below:

  1. You wanted to use image here, but image is cut and not shown as a whole.

These are the things I found out, but if you need more audit or any helps, happy to help, just let me know.

Best.

Hey @BuyMorePerfumes ,

I just checked your Shopify store, and I am very impressed by its layout. It’s very clean and looks professional. I really appreciate the efforts that you put into building your store. While checking your site, I found some key areas where you need to make improvements.

  1. Make sure all the pages work well. I can see “Contact Us” page gave me a 404 error. Which is not good for SEO.
  2. Make sure the Wholesale page works correctly.
  3. When we click on Catalog then the category title should show in Black color. Now it’s showing in white color, that’s why it’s not visible.

If you need a detailed Audit for your store that helps you to improve your webshop’s appearance and engage Shoppers to buy more, then you can reach out us from the information in the signature below.

Hello @BuyMorePerfumes

I just open your website and first thing i notice is the LOGO size and header redesign, Resize logo that makes it more visible and appealing.

Thank you.

Hi, I’m Wayne from Akohub. We have been working with many brands to run online stores. After viewing your website, I believe our expertise could add value to your business.

The wide selection of fragrances, clear trust signals like the authenticity guarantee and free shipping, customer testimonials create a solid foundation which builds confidence for buyers, and the site is easy to navigate.

To further optimize your store,

  • Consider adding a visually engaging hero banner on the homepage to immediately capture attention and clearly communicate your brand’s value.
  • Enhancing product pages with detailed scent descriptions, more images, and customer Q&A can boost conversions.
  • Improving navigation with filters and adding an About Us page will help customers connect with your brand and find products faster.

Currently your store is missing a loyalty widget, which is a powerful tool for fostering customer engagement and boosting conversion rates. Loyalty programs work by rewarding customers for their purchases and interactions, offering benefits such as points for discounts, store credits or exclusive offers. I would recommend adding one since loyalty programs are effective to attract repeat customers, especially for niches like fragrance and cosmetics.

Best wishes! If you have any more questions or any questions about the loyalty program, feel free to let us know! We are willing to offer a free professional consultation. Don’t forget to like and mark it as a solution if you find this helpful. Thanks.

Hello @BuyMorePerfumes

We are happy to know that you are about to launch a new store and would like to make preparations for it. I have checked your store pages in different ways, and you can refer here to improve the store status in a better way:

  1. There exists a missing H1 issue on your homepage after checking. If your main page lacks an H1 tag, it will be very difficult for Google to index and determine the main title of your store pages. It is also not good for your store’s performance in Google Search. Before launching it formally, better add a valid H1 tag on the main title of the homepage first.

  1. Your website has no favicon in the search results on Google, which will affect brand awareness and make visitors feel harder to identify your page URLs. Adding a favicon from the Shopify admin will be helpful to let more visitors locate your store easily.

  1. You have excessive meta title issues on product pages after my checking. This refers to one of the severe SEO issues on your store and should be handled immediately. You can further check if the excessive meta title refers to another theme or plugin you used recently and after disabling one of them, it will be fine and Google will index your page contents in a better way. Thank you!

The above feedback are all the aspects you can take measures to further optimize store pages and if you would like to make more progress on it, you can also consider doing an SEO Check and more feedbacks will be provided here for your store, a kind reminder here and I believe your store will get a better performance in the future. Cheers!

Hey @BuyMorePerfumes

I just ran www.buymoreperfumes.com through Google PageSpeed Insights https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-www-buymoreperfumes-com/l20mf4u2yk?form_factor=mobile and noticed a few critical issues I’d love to address before launching. The Performance, Accessibility, and SEO scores—especially on mobile—are not where they need to be.

Here are the key issues I found:

Performance

  • LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) is taking a hit due to the hero banner.
➤ We need to prioritize loading that image by adding fetchpriority=“high” to the tag and consider preloading it as well.

  • There’s a lot of unused CSS and JavaScript dragging things down.
➤ We should either manually clean it up or use a CSS/JS optimizer to minify and reduce render-blocking resources. If possible, inline the critical CSS for faster first paint.

  • Image sizes also need attention.
➤ Some images aren’t properly sized or compressed. Let’s run them through an image optimization tool or manually compress and resize them to appropriate dimensions.

Accessibility

  • The footer logo is missing an alt attribute.
➤ Easy fix: just add a descriptive alt tag for screen readers.

  • Heading structure is off.
➤ Currently, headings (H1, H2, H3…) aren’t in the correct order, which can confuse assistive tech. We need to organize them so they flow logically from top to bottom.

SEO

  • There’s room for improvement in meta tags, image alt text, and internal linking.
➤ Once performance and accessibility are addressed, we should fine-tune on-page SEO next.

you’re in a very competitive market. figure out what your site is different and show it off on your website. it’s a little generic but important to answer.

Hello @BuyMorePerfumes

Your store looks great overall — clean and visually appealing. Just a few quick suggestions:

  1. On the Refund Policy page, there’s placeholder text saying “[INSERT RETURN ADDRESS]” — make sure to update that. The whole sentence I guess needs to be changed or removed.

  1. The Contact Us page says “Click the chat icon in the bottom-right corner,” but I didn’t see any chat button. You might want to double-check if it’s enabled.

  1. For the Clearance collection, adding a countdown timer or stock countdown can create urgency and help boost sales. Sure, it comes after you launched the store and see current stats. :slightly_smiling_face:

All the best for the launch! :rocket:

Hello! @BuyMorePerfumes

Your new perfume store looks polished and trustworthy—your product range, clean layout, quick navigation, and blog section all give off a reassuring, brand-rich vibe. That’s a great start. To help make sure everything’s firing on all cylinders before launch, here are a few practical suggestions:

1. Polish SEO & Brand Recognition
Missing H1: Your homepage is missing an H1 tag, which helps Google understand your main page content. Adding one can boost your search visibility.
No favicon: Your site doesn’t have a favicon yet, which makes your browser tab look plain and makes it harder for visitors to recognize your site among other open tabs. Adding one is a quick win to improve your brand presence.
Meta titles: It seems like some product pages have overly long or repeated meta titles. Cleaning these up ensures better indexing and improves your chances of appearing in relevant searches.

2. Speed, Accessibility & Mobile Experience
Hero image slows loading: Your main banner takes too long to load. Use prioritization attributes or preload it to help the page render faster on mobile devices.
Unused CSS/JS: There’s extra code that slows down performance. Streamlining or minifying scripts and CSS—or inlining critical styles—can speed things up.
Alt text missing: Some images (like your footer logo) lack alt tags, which affects accessibility and SEO. Adding descriptive alt text helps everyone—especially screen reader users.
Heading order: The heading structure (H1, H2, H3…) is inconsistent. Organizing them properly improves both accessibility and SEO.

3. Content & Product Experience
Product descriptions: They could be more detailed and SEO-friendly. Include fragrance notes, the experience it delivers, or tips like best occasions to wear them.
Better organization: With such a wide catalog, grouping products by scent families, price tiers, or featured collections might help visitors browse more easily.
Expand blog content: You’re already posting articles, which is great! Bolster this with in-depth guides—like “Fragrance Notes Explained” or “Top Summer Scents”—to drive organic traffic and keep visitors engaged.

4. Customer Trust & Social Proof
Your “About Us” page shows a strong legacy and authenticity, which builds trust. To add more impact:
Highlight your 40-year history and BBB accreditation more prominently—maybe on the homepage as a trust badge or note.
Encourage customer reviews and display them on product pages—authentic feedback helps seal the trust.

Customers are more likely to purchase when they trust the store. You should add product reviews using a tool like ShopReviews ‑ Product Reviews - ShopReviews - Boost your sales with product reviews | Shopify App Store, which makes collecting and displaying real customer feedback seamless

If you’re also selling on Etsy, consider using an app like Etsy Integration ‑ ShopList - ShopList - seamless integration between Shopify and Etsy | Shopify App Store . It lets you sync your products and orders between Shopify and Etsy automatically, saving time and helping you manage inventory more efficiently—perfect for handmade or customized products like yours.

Best Regards,

Hey @BuyMorePerfumes

The site looks clean and easy to browse, which is great for first impressions. I’d recommend making sure your product pages highlight trust signals like reviews or guarantees since that can help with conversions. Also, once you’re live, consider setting up something like UpPromote so affiliates can help drive traffic, it’s a nice way to build momentum beyond just ads.

Wishing you the best for your store!

Warmly,
Moeed

The site has a sleek and user-friendly design, which makes a strong first impression. To boost conversions, it would be great to include trust elements on your product pages, such as reviews or guarantees. Additionally, after launching, consider using something like UpPromote to get affiliates to help drive traffic – it’s a great way to generate momentum beyond just relying on ads.

Best of luck with your store!
