Hi i need to cancel Shopify billing

Hi, i have been using my shopify store for a while, and i forget to cancel my annual plan, it charged me $336 today, what should i do to cancel and refund? Thanks

As per Shopify’s Terms of Service, we do not issue refunds. However, by reaching out to Shopify Support through the help center, our team will be able to review it on a case-by-case basis to determine if a refund is applicable in this situation.

If you’re looking to close your account and have our team review possible refund options, please take a look at the steps below.

Prior to closing your Shopify account:

  • Make sure that you pay any outstanding charges that you might have. If you have no outstanding charges against your account, then you won’t receive a bill after closing your store.
  • Save your store information by exporting CSV files. You can choose to save your bills by exporting your billing history.
  • If you have any third-party apps that have your payment information outside of Shopify, then cancel your service with those apps to avoid being billed externally after you close your store.
  • Make sure to turn off auto-renewal for your custom domain on your registrar’s website to avoid unexpected charges.

Once you’ve confirmed the above, you can follow the steps to close your store in our pausing or deactivating your store resource.
